Garci is right

-- when he said na it's not his voice on the tapes. Because he's probably referring to Bunye's "I have two discs, the left and the right" -- Original and Splicy version. Si Edgar Ruado ang kausap ni GMA, IIRC.

-- He's also right in a way when he said na "spliced" yung tapes. Because again, he's referring to Bunye's tapes kasi ulit. Talangang pineke yon.

Before anything else, let's define muna what is "spliced". When somebody says "spliced" yung tape, it means pinag-duktong duktong nila ang tape to make it look like someone is talking to somebody else, even though hindi ito nangyari sa totoong buhay.

Now that that is out of the way, let's tackle Samuel Ong and Paguia's tapes. Even though Sam Ong's tapes has annotations (military style intro, including date and time), at kay paguia naman may commentary pa from him before each taped conversation, I don't think the actual conversations between Garci, GMA, and the other characters there are altered to make them say something they did not say.

But Garci and other Arroyo may claim na "spliced" ito because of the annotation and introductions.

-- He's also techincally correct when he said na "hindi raw original" yung inilabas ng opposition.

Even Ong's tapes have annotations, so how can it be the original? The original should have no military style intro (date/time). Kopya lang (with annotation) yung ibinigay ni Doble sa opposition.

And obviously, Bunye's version is junk.

If you want the "original" tapes (without annotations), then maybe we should ask ISAFP cough up their entire collection.
