Banker says Dichavez owned Velarde account

From Malaya:

Romuald Dy Tang, defense witness in the plunder case against President Joseph Estrada, yesterday said Jaime Dichavez owned the so-called Velarde account.

Dy Tang, the officer of the former Equitable PCI Bank who handled the Velarde account, said Dichavez requested for the opening of the Velarde account through a directional letter addressed to him.

Dy Tang said withdrawals from the Velarde Account were personally made by Dichavez through withdrawal slips signed by the latter in his presence.

Dy Tang said he was interviewed by the House prosecution team during the impeachment trial for the purpose of presenting him as a witness to pin down Estrada as the owner of the Velarde account.

Dy Tang said he was dropped by the prosecution as a witness when he insisted Dichavez owned the Velarde account.

Totoo kaya yung sinasabi ni Dy Tang? Dahil kung nagsinungaling siya, PERJURY yan diba?
