I admit, I considered "moving on," but...

Nabasa ko ito kay MLQ3 about some of the comments from people who say "let's move on", "shut up, magtrabaho na lang tayo", "tigilan na ang pulitika."

You know, I would have probably "moved on" na rin from all of this... IF ALL GMA DID WAS LIE ABOUT SEX AND HAVE ORAL SEX WITH A MALACANANG INTERN!

The problem though is that MAS SERIOUS ang krimen na ginawa niya, let's just put it that way. ;)

btw, ginagaya ng malacanang propaganda machine ang tactic ng mga bill clinton defenders, which worked btw, because they framed the impeachment as a sex/blowjob issue, and most americans don't care about sex.

Remember MoveOn? Moveon.org was group organized in 1998 that petitioned Congress to "move on" past the impeachment proceedings of President Clinton.

More info on MoveOn.org:

The history of MoveOn, one of the most successful Internet-based political groups in the United States, began with its opposition to the impeachment of U.S. President Bill Clinton in 1998. Originally a nonpartisan petition, it has emerged as a powerful fundraising vehicle for Democratic Party candidates.

of course, we too have our own "let's move on" advocates like the pro-arroyo Archbishop Fernando "I love CPR" Capalla.

you know, if all GMA did was have oral sex with mike defensor (biro lang mike!), most filipinos would have "moved on" and not call for Arroyo to step down.

Unfortunately, arroyo's crimes of election fraud, corruption, bribery, obstruction of justice and kidnapping are more serious than that, and we filipinos demand swift justice and relief from this oppressive and marcosian administration.
