Isn't it time na to call the CHA CHA "clamor" for what it really is?

A Government Initiative.

From the Manila Times:

United Opposition (Uno) president and Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay on Thursday unveiled a new signature drive by the Arroyo administration to amend the Constitution.

Mayor Binay said that the Interior Secretary Ronaldo Puno was heading operations for the “rehashed” people’s initiative.

The new twist, Binay said, is the push for a unicameral legislature under a presidential system—a move that sidelines Speaker Jose de Venecia’s dream for a parliamentary form of government.

“The organization is there, and they are ready to move. It will involve local officials and DILG personnel,” said Binay.

Contrary to administration claims of a possible plebiscite in tandem with the May 2007 polls, Binay said the new game plan eyes a plebiscite in February.

More here from Malaya.

Kaya pala tuloy tuloy pa rin ang pangonolekta ng signatures ng gov't officials, kahit na sa mga OFWs sa Israel,.

Dahil kunyari lang ang pag-backout nila sa CHA CHA.
