Why the Republicans refused to vote for Boehner's "Plan B"

because they will be voting to RAISE taxes. It will be in their record.

Brit hume asked on twitter:

If we go off the cliff & tax rates go up. Dems in new Cong. move to lower them for nearly all. Will Rs who resisted Boehner say no again?
No, because they are not against voting to CUT taxes for nearly all.

So how will Republicans respond if taxes were automatically raised once cliff is reached? The will submit new proposal to lower taxes for everybody (100%).

Obama will insist on cutting taxes for 98% of the population (those making 250K and above).

Bipartisan compromise is reached once moderate republicans and democrats settle for tax cuts for 99% of the population (only millionaires and billionaires taxes will go up under this proposal)
