So dahil ba sa bagong channel ng SOLAR called Basketball TV (BTV), bawal na yung ibang channel na katulad ng ESPN Philippines at Starsports na magpalabas ng NBA sa bansa natin?
Exclusive na ba talaga sa SOLAR via BTV ang karapatan na magpalabas ng NBA games sa Pilipinas?
Eh paano na kung wala kaming BTV (We don't have Skycable), at ESPN at Starsports lang ang sports channels namin na may NBA (dati)?
Since SKYCABLE at HOME cable lang ang may BTV --the lopez group signed a deal with SOLAR para exclusive lang yung BTV sa cable nila-- lilipat na lang kami sa SKY o HOME? Ganon ba yan? Ulol nyo!
Mino-monopolize yata ng SOLAR ang pagpapalabas ng NBA games ah. And SOLAR is conniving with SKYCABLE to wipe out their cable competitors by:
1) making BTV exclusive only to SKYCABLE
2) forcing espn philippines and starsports to stop carrying NBA games.
I like the idea of Basketball TV btw, a channel devoted solely to local and international basketball. there's nothing wrong with creating such a channel. But if Solar will use predatory tactics para papakialaman o tatanggalin yung NBA games ng ESPN o Starsports, then gaguhan na yan.
Ano, pag-tiyatiyagaan na lang namin ang RPN9 NBA games on sat and sunday mornings? It used to be 7 NBA games a week sa cable namin. now it's down to 2 games a week.
