Tapos, sasabihin nila na we should keep Gloria Macapagal Arroyo na lang since they claim that there are "no credible replacements" for Pikachu.
I say bullshit to those.
There is one guy that would make a great president if Arroyo steps down, and that person is Panfilo Lacson.
Sure sinabi ni Lacson recently na wag muna raw mag-resign si GMA.
Sabi ni Lacson, let's give GMA one last chance to "redeem herself".
Gusto ko makita ang pangulo redeeming herself. Maraming paraan, marami siyang puwedeng gawin para i-redeem ang kanyang sarili na drastic at dramatic na talagang makikita ng tao na totoo," Lacson said.
He said the President should go beyond ordering the Department of Justice to investigate her kin whom jueteng whistleblowers have alleged are receiving millions of pesos in jueteng payoffs.
"Hindi ganoon ang gustong makita o marinig ng tao. Gusto nilang may makitang dramatic and I believe na kung talagang gagawin, she can still redeem herself," he said.

Meaning, wag kaagad magtawag ng resignation, let her defend herself muna. If she can't "redeem herself", well delikado na...
Which is a smart move on lacson's part IMO, because it makes him look like na hindi siya atat-na-atat na paalisin si GMA.
And at the same time, he distances himself from the the group that is leading the charge in calling for GMA's resignation, para hindi siya maakusahan na may personal interest sa pagpapatalsik kay GMA.
Thirdly, the business groups and pro-GMA loyalists are more likely to embrace him as GMA's replacement if he shows non-partisanship and statesmanship in dealing with GMA.
Cuz let's face it, GMA is a goner. A dead man walking. It's just a matter of time.
And when a recall election is held, si lacson ang magiging paborito para manalo diyan. You can count on it.

Alternatives? Of course theres no alternative. Question is why are we pinning all our hopes on one person? Is it the system? Again I dont think so because a shift from a democratic (Americanized)to a Parliamentary form of Government (British or Otherwise) will just give different names to the same people. The point is that the system gives so much power to one person, who ever he or she is. Wether we call him/her a "President" or a "Prime Minister." Ang tanong ko lang sa lahat, systema ba ang problema? o ang taong nasa taas? Ang sagot ko dyan ay pareho. Ang systema natin na kinokopya sa ibat ibang bansa ang syang nag lalabas ng isang makapangyarihang tao na gagamitin ang kanyang kapangyarihan upang manatili sa pwesto sa pamamgitan ng panloloko, pag nanakaw at kung ano ano pang karumaldumal na paraan.
Yung sinasabi ni "Tabako" hindi solution yun. Yun ay isang paraan para mailuklok sa pwesto si "Daga". Yan ay hindi na bago sa ating lahat. Pag si "Daga" na ang Prime Minister ano na? Ma iiba ba? Natural pareho pa rin. So anong solution?
Hindi po ako nag mamarunong ngunit sa kabila ng crisis na ito, meron akong napansin na konting liwanag na maaring sagot sa ating problema. If you will recall, that in the middle of the crisis, a group of Governors decided form autonomous government to shield and to cushion the impact of whatever political changes that may take place withn the next few days. I find this move a smart one and sa aking tingin e pwedeng dyan nakasalalay ang pagasa ng ating bayan. Pag me autonomy ang bawat region, diluted ang powers ng namumuno, pati na rin ang mga katulad ni Garsi at kung sinosino pang mga halimaw na gustong controlin ang ating buhay.
Tingin ko dapat tignan natin ang "Regional Autonomy" as the solution to our political problems. Scholars should look into this alternative seriously. And deep in my mind, I think this is the best alternative. Hindi po tao and kelangan nating tignan kasi ang tao ay lagin hayok sa kapangyarihan at pera. tignan natin kung pano natin ma control ang kahayukan ng tao thorugh Autonomy.
