The arrogance of some Civil Society supporters

From Pinoyexchange:

Well what is clear is that the Cory Group, together with the Makati Business Club and the CBCP, is now trying to take the leadership role in the campaign to have the President gracefully step down from MalacaƱang.

Wala kasi silang nakikitang tibay at lakas sa combined groups of pro-Erap, pro-FPJ, pro-military junta, and leftists/communists.

Hah! Kung mahina ang "gloria resign" movement ng political opposition at mga leftist groups, bakit yung "civil society" ang bumaliktad -- from defending arroyo to joining the other side in calling for arroyo to resign?

May kasabihan nga eh... if you can't beat them, JOIN THEM.

Ayaw lang nilang mag-mukhang tanga, so they abandoned their own creation, the one they installed in power in 2001, the one they helped get "elected" in the last fake presidential election -- Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

BTW, aren't the Cory group and the MBC people the same ones who earlier said that we should accept Arroyo's fake apology and "move on"?

Wasn't it Cory who said recently na we should give Arroyo the "maximum benefit of the doubt" even though alam niyang nandaya si GMA?

Wasn't it NAMFREL's Bill Luz who said that the 2004 Presidential Elections were "absolutely credible". LMAO!!!!

And i don't know why Cory keeps popping up on TV and making all sorts of statements, from let's "forgive GMA and move on", to lecturing us re following the constitution (heh), to calling for arroyo's resignation.

Hindi naman si Cory o yung civil society ang dinaya sa nakaraang eleksyon eh.

Yung opposition at ang mga Filipino voters ang dinaya. And interestingly enough, it was cory and the civil society people who were the ones defending the cheater until Arroyo became "too indefensible" for them.

Mas may K na mag-complain si Susan Roces re cheating (even though paminsan-minsan lang siyang magsalita) kaysa kay cory -- who is now all over the place, being instructed by her "civil society" backers to issue one hypocritical press release after another to the media.

Walang na bang awa ang Makati Business Club at Civil Society kay Cory. She's 70 years old for cryin out loud!!! She's too old for this shit.

Having said what I said though, I gotta give Cory and her group some props for finally seeing the light and doing the right thing.
