Arroyo Admin chickened out of "Resign Challenge"

Sabi ko na nga ba eh. Naduwag ang GMA administration... LMAO!

Palace gets cold feet on winner take all
Defensor’s wager on tapes disowned

BY REGINA BENGCO

MALACAÑANG is backing out of the winner-take-all deal that the Environment Secretary Michael Defensor has proposed and the opposition has accepted on the "Hello Garci" tapes, saying the political future of the country should not be decided by wagers.

Presidential Management Staff head RigobertoTiglao told Palace reporters that Defensor was only stating his personal view when he said that he and President Arroyo are willing to quit if the opposition can prove that Arroyo discussed vote-padding with former Elections Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano in the recorded conversations.

But Defensor said opposition members of Congress should also resign if it is proven that the tapes were doctored.

"It may be Secretary Defensor’s view. I doubt if that’s an official position," Tiglao said in a phone patch interview.

When reminded that Defensor is the presidential political spokesman, he said: "Sino? Siya? May be you could clarify it with him again."

Who's Mike Defensor nga ba naman? Sino ba siya to make such statements on behalf of the fake president? Eh kung yung statements* nga ni Palace spokesperson Ignacio Bunye inside Malacanang can't be used as official Malacanang statements, si Defensor pa!?!

(* remember his claim na his pre-emptive stunt to present an "original" and "spliced" version of the tapes "was not approved" by Arroyo, and that he was just "acting alone?")
