Now this is news to me:

Mar Roxas sa snap polls

(Bernard Taguinod)

So Senator Mar Roxas will replace Gloria Macapagal Arroyo if new elections take place. Good Choice. Sa opposition naman my pick is Lacson or Serge Osmena.

Don't forget Bayani Fernando too. Pwede rin siyang maging admin candidate for president.

Of course, If ya will all recall I floated Mar Roxas' name as possible replacement for GMA back in June 14.

And in other news:

Opposition ready with poll fraud proof

Sunday, 07 03, 2005

The opposition in the House of Representatives is ready to present at any time evidence of cheating in the May 2004 elections other than the tapped conversations between President Arroyo and former Comelec Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano which detailed the cheating operations. Fifty-nine percent of Metro Manilans believe the President had ordered Garcillano to cheat for her. (See related story)

House Minority Leader Francis Escudero and five other opposition congressmen said in a press conference at the Sulo Hotel in Quezon City that they were prepared to present proof of the poll fraud, if asked.

The cheating, as evidenced by the conversations between Mrs. Arroyo and Garcillano, robbed the late Fernando Poe Jr., the standard-bearer of the former Koalisyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino, of his votes that could have had him replacing Mrs. Arroyo in MalacaƱang.

Escudero said if challenged by their colleagues from the majority, they could present equally damning evidence on the cheating, other than the bugged conversations between the President and her still missing poll operator.
