Nagsalita na naman si Miriam

Nag-ala "Raul Gonzalez" si Miriam Defensor Santiago. Sabi niya na some of those anti-GMA Bishops may face arrest raw if they are determined to be "inciting to sedition."

Can they be arrested too for telling the truth re the fake president?

Read this reaction from Conrad de Quiros on Miriam's latest rantings.

CBCP leaders clash on pastoral statement
VIDAL: LEAVE REVERSAL OR RETENTION TO YOUNG BISHOPS; CAPALLA: FORGET ABOUT IMPEACHING GLORIA

The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) was a house divided yesterday, the eve of a supposedly crucial meeting where the country's church leaders are expected to decide on whether to reverse a pastoral statement that they issued early this month practically exonerating President Arroyo of the impeachable offense of rigging the May 2004 elections in her favor.

Cebu Archbishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal said young members of the CBCP's Permanent Council will have to decide on their own whether to overturn the July 10 pastoral statement, especially upon their discernment of the recent killing of all three impeachment complaints against the Chief Executive by her allies in the House of Representatives.

“I am leaving it to the young bishops (the decision on whether to take back the statement) and whatever they think is right is up to them,” Vidal declared before the National Day of Prayer and Consecration to the Our Lady of Mediatrix Queen of Peace held at the Carmelite Convent in Lipa City, Batangas, south of Manila.

A reversal is seen to boost calls from various sectors, including the political opposition, for the resignation of Mrs. Arroyo, or her removal through the constitutional process of impeachment for alleged cheating, lying and stealing, or worse, the President's ouster through a popular uprising.

In contrast to the apparent freedom that Vidal is giving the young bishops in making their choice, CBCP president Davao Archbishop Fernando Capalla is hinting that they had better keep off the pastoral statement.
